Susie has a rich, soothing contralto voice, which is very rare these days & combined with Andy's skill & versatility on a variety of instruments including Alto Saxophone, Jazz Drum kit, Bongos, Latin Percussion, Keyboards/Piano/ Vibes/ Jazz Organ and Blues Harmonica they bring you a selection of musical memories from the Great American Songbook & the cocktail jazz club era.
Though they are not a Tribute Act, Susie\'s voice is reminiscent of Cleo Laine, Sarah Vaughan, Marion Montgomery, June Christy, Peggy Lee & Ella Fitzgerald. And although Andy plays Alto Sax, not Tenor, his style will remind you of the great Ben Webster. Together, their music will bring back memories of Cleo Laine & Johnny Dankworth, Ronnie Scott\'s Club and Lounges from the 40s and 50s when songs had melodies & meaning.
